Recently, Louis Vuitton Malletier (commonly known as "LV") sued new tea drink brand Jasmine Milk White for trademark infringement, which attracted attention. The materials of the judgment show that on June 29, the case of LV suing Shenzhen City Jasmine Milk White Catering Management Co., Ltd. and Wujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone Dongxia Beverage Store for infringement of trademark right dispute, has been made by Suzhou Intermediate People's Court of Jiangsu Province a first-instance judgment.

The court finds that the relevant actions of the two defendants infringe the exclusive right to use seven graphic registered trademarks of LV. The court orders the two defendants to stop the involved trademark infringement immediately. Among them, Jasmine Milk White main body company must compensate LV 10 million yuan in economic losses and 300,000 yuan in reasonable expenses within 10 days from the judgment taking effect, a total of 10.3 million yuan. Jasmine Milk White founder Zhang Bocheng replied that he would appeal.

Staff of Suzhou Intermediate People's Court replied that the case is a non-effective case, is currently on appeal. The date of making the first instance judgment of the case is June 29, 2026. On July 1, the parties just received the judgment, the plaintiff and the defendant can bring an appeal within 30 days from the delivery of the judgment, the first instance judgment has not taken effect. As the case is still in the appeal period, it is currently not convenient to disclose the details of the case to the outside world, relevant information needs to wait for the advancement of the second instance procedures or the official release of the court.
